The question of what determines the success of a foundation is a topic of long-standing debate....
However, many foundations and organizations has set aside key performance indicators which includes; the financial measures such as the sales growth and earnings per share (EPS) and the growth in addition to non-financial measures such as loyalty to product and service quality. Yet, as we'll see, these have only a loose connection to the objective of value.
Many foundations often rely on statistics that are neither persistent nor predictive, but then, a general survey has come to the conclusive measure of the corporate performances in foundations and had reported that success can be measured by teamwork ( how well the foundation works hand in hand with it's members ).
Also, many great authors and respected leaders has stated the fact that Love is "the secret to life and sustainability". Great men like Joel Manby (Love Works) who had advocated for Love in the work context through his writing and as well exposed that a culture of Love corresponded to increased level of job satisfaction, teamwork and the unlimited growth and development of foundations.
As we all know, Love is not discussed in organizations and foundations, they let their actions, policies, products and services do the talking. Love is also promoted in foundations through Neutrality, Impartiality, Humanity, Independence, Unity, Universality and the voluntary service of members.
In fact, Love isn't as absent from organizations and foundations as we might think rather it is the pillar that holds it firmly. Moreover foundations that are dedicated to the works that improves the quality of life for many individuals, participate in humanitarian activities and are built on humanitarian standards to help make a difference in the community, state and beyond. And this is aimed at promoting Humanity.
On the other hand, foundations that are built with lack of humanitarian standards are incomparable to those foundations that are built on Love, because where there is Love, there is integrity, humility and generosity, and these qualities always leads to the sustainability of the foundation, it's productivity and general effectiveness.
Love is a much needed antidote to many challenges facing our communities.
